Every way you've tried to take better care of yourself has failed and frustrated you.
You were told the fix was finding the right system. Then you'd finally stick with it.
You didn't fail the journal. The journal failed you. It was built for a woman with the same amount of energy every single day, and you have never once been that woman.
Low Tide was built for the woman you actually are.
The REAL Problem
Spoiler: It’s Not You
It's not a discipline problem. It's a capacity problem.
You think the problem is you. Not enough discipline. Not enough consistency. Not enough willpower to keep a streak alive past day eleven.
Here's what's actually happening. Every planner, every app, every 21-day challenge is built on one hidden assumption: that your capacity is stable. That you'll show up with roughly the same energy on day one and day forty. That a bad week is the exception, not the rule.
For women with chronic illness, neurodivergence, anxiety or a life that simply does not run on a schedule, that assumption is false on day one. The system was never going to hold. It was measuring you against a version of you that doesn't exist.
And you're still reaching for systems built on that same assumption. You'll keep failing them the exact same way, for the exact same reason, until the assumption itself changes.
Why Everything Else Failed You
Your energy was never going to be a straight line.
There's real science behind why.
If you live with chronic illness like fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, your body can experience post-exertional malaise, a delayed, disproportionate crash after effort that seemed manageable at the time. It's not ordinary tiredness. Willpower doesn't fix it.
If you're neurodivergent, researchers call this pattern "functional inconsistency." The same task can be easy one day and completely inaccessible the next, even when your motivation hasn't changed.
If you're navigating depression, low energy is a documented symptom of the condition itself. It moves on the illness's timeline, not yours.
Three different mechanisms. One shared result. Consistency was never the missing ingredient. The missing ingredient was a practice built to bend around a body and mind that genuinely work this way.
What This Course Actually Is
Seven modules. Three versions of one practice.
Low Tide is a seven-module, self-paced course. You get lifetime access to all seven modules and workbooks, a 100-practice list sorted by energy level, two monthly live group calls and a private one-on-one call with Angela.
You finish with a practice you built for your actual life, not the life a wellness influencer assumes you have.
You stop doing the quiet math every morning of how much you have today. You already know what to do with whatever you've got. A full day gets the full practice. A hard day gets a smaller one. Not lesser. Just smaller.
Miss a day, or a full week during a flare, and you pick back up exactly where you left off. No guilt. No starting over from day one.
And the practice is built around what you actually enjoy, not what you think you should be doing.
How This is Different from All the Rest
Every other practice is built for your best day. This one starts with your worst.
Built for your worst day, not your best one.
Most systems design around your ideal week and treat a bad week as a failure to fix later. This one designs the low-capacity version before it ever asks you for the high-capacity one, because the low-capacity day is the one that actually determines whether you quit.
A way back, not just a way to start.
Every system on the market is good at getting you to day one. Almost none of them have a plan for day fourteen, when you miss a stretch and the guilt convinces you it's already over. This one has a specific module for that exact moment.
Evidence, not belief.
You are not asked to trust that this will be different. You track three or four real weeks, wobbles included, until you have your own proof. Not motivation. Proof.
That moment is where every other practice you've owned actually died.
How You Build It
Map your real energy in Module 1. Two real weeks of tracking your actual pattern. Not a guess.
Build three versions in Module 2. A full-capacity version, a reduced version and a version for the day getting out of bed is the whole accomplishment.
Test the lowest one on purpose in Module 3. You try it before a crisis forces you to rely on it untested.
Build your way back in Module 4. A specific ritual for the day you miss, so missing doesn't cascade into quitting the way it always has.
Catch the old story in Module 5. The thought that says this isn't made for you either. You learn to notice it instead of obeying it.
Track the evidence in Module 6. Three to four real weeks, wobbles included, until you have proof the practice holds instead of a hope that it might.
Make it yours in Module 7. A simple process for adjusting your tides as life changes, so this keeps working long after the course ends.
Each step feeds the next. You can't build three versions until you know your real pattern. You can't trust the lowest version until you've tested it. And you can't know it holds until you've watched it hold, then made it something you can keep adjusting on your own.
“Angela helps us create meaningful self support practices and rituals. Not posh. Not instant perfect. Real and sustainable.”
This is for you if…
Your energy changes by the day, and every system you've tried assumed it wouldn't
You've finished the first week of something and quietly known you wouldn't finish the last
You want evidence a practice works for you, not another reason to hope it will
You're tired of being told the problem was your discipline
This isn’t for you if…
You want a rigid daily structure and thrive on strict consistency
You're looking for a quick fix rather than a practice you build over weeks
You're not currently willing to track your own patterns, even loosely
“There are many self-care “gurus” out there, recirculating familiar advice. Too often, it feels like another list of “to-do’s” that don’t acknowlege the reality of someone who experiences chronic illness or unpredictable health. Angela’s work is different. Angela understands the emotional ups and downs of not always having the capacity to follow an ideal self-care routine because she lives this reality herself. She has created a progressive ladder of self-care options that meets you where you are - from your hardest, lowest-energy days to the days when you have more to give.
Angela makes self-care feel real, accessible, and free from judgment. She continually evolves her offerings to meet people where they are because she cares. Deeply.
I call Angela my self-love angel. Her gentle, soothing presence makes you feel safe and supported, even when you’re struggling. I wholeheartedly recommend going deeper with Angela.”
About Angela
I built it because I live it. Chronic illnesses. Neurodivergence. Anxiety. Depression.
My worst days look like this. Pain at a 7 or higher. Light hurts. Sound hurts. My head pounds with every small movement. Feeding my cats can make me cry. Some days there's no energy left for anything beyond the basics.
The last time I tried a normal routine, I did it wrong. Meditation before getting out of bed. Stretches before leaving the room. Journaling every morning. Day one, I was too tired to meditate. Day two, the stretches hurt. By day three, the whole thing was gone, and I was staring at an empty habit tracker, certain a routine just wasn't possible for me.
I knew I wanted to help women navigating this. I just didn't know how yet.
First I built a full program: journaling, oracle cards, affirmations, mindfulness. Then I talked to actual women living this. That wasn't it. They needed something that fit into lives that were already hard.
So I rebuilt it starting from the hardest days instead of the best ones. On your lowest day, you don't have the brainpower left to figure anything out. The decision has to already be made before you need it.
That's the Low Tide Method. Built from the worst day up, because that's the day that actually determines whether a practice survives.
