Built for energy that changes without warning, so you know what to do to feel better — no matter what today looks like.
Before you're even out of bed, you're doing the math.
How much energy will I have today? What will I actually be able to do? What's it going to cost me tomorrow if I push it?
You're thinking about getting through the day with whatever you've got, diagnosed or not, named or not.
Somewhere along the way, people hand you journals, suggest meditation apps, or a morning routine with seven steps and an affirmation card. Something to adopt.
Something to commit to. Something with a start date.
None of it asked the actual question: How much energy will you have today?
What Nobody Talks About
Advice for self-care almost always assumes your energy is a known quantity, roughly the same from one day to the next. So a routine built once can run on repeat. If that's true for you, it probably works fine.
But if you don't know what today's energy looks like until you're in it, that assumption is the problem. And it’s not a small flaw, but the entire foundation of it.
Why None of it Actually Worked
You've probably watched someone post about their morning routine, their gratitude journal, their five-step reset, and thought, that's not for me.
You were right.
All of it assumes a version of you that has the same amount of energy every day. You don't. It was built for a problem you don't have.
The problem you actually have is different: Not knowing how much energy you have until you're already in the day. Nobody has built anything for that - until now.
What If Instead, You Could Have...
Imagine waking up and, instead of doing the quiet math of how much you have today, you already know what to do with whatever you've got.
A full day, and you have a practice waiting for you. A hard day, and you still do too, just a smaller one. Not lesser. Just smaller.
Imagine missing a day, or a full week during a flare, and coming back without a single ounce of guilt. No quitting or feeling like you failed. Just picking back up exactly where you left off.
Imagine actually looking forward to your practice, because it was built around what you enjoy, not what you think you should be doing.
That's what's waiting on the other side of this. Not perfection. Just a practice that finally holds.
What is Low Tide?
Low Tide is a self-paced course, built around a different question than the one every other plan starts with. Not "can you do this every day." Instead: what can you actually do today, whatever today turns out to be.
You get seven modules, each with its own workbook and video, with a list of 100 practices, already sorted by energy level, so you're never deciding from scratch on a day you have nothing left to decide with. Monthly group Zoom calls while you're in the course, and a 30-minute one-on-one call with me, scheduled whenever you want it during the course, not locked to week one or week seven.
You start by mapping your actual energy pattern over two real weeks, not a guess. From there you build three working versions of your practice, a full-capacity version, a reduced version, and a version for the day getting out of bed is the whole accomplishment. And you track three to four real weeks, wobbles included, until you have evidence the practice holds instead of a hope that it might.
By the end, you're not someone chasing a streak. You're someone who has three real versions of a practice, built for three real kinds of days, so a missed day stays a missed day instead of becoming the reason you quit.
What Makes This Different
Low Tide is built for people who have varying energy, but want a practice that works to help them feel better.
It's built around your worst day, not your best one. Every other plan gets written on a good morning and quietly assumes that morning is normal. This one starts with the day you have the least, and builds up from there.
Missing a day is in the design, not a failure of it. There's a specific process for what to do after you miss one, so it never turns into the reason you stop completely.
It measures whether it holds, not whether you're consistent. You're not tracking a streak. You're finding out, over real weeks, whether this actually survives a bad one.
That's the only test that matters.
How It Works
Seven modules, each one answering a specific question your old approach never did.
Module one has you track your actual energy for a couple of weeks, looking for the real pattern instead of the one you assume you have.
Module two has you build three working versions of a practice, pulled from a list of 100 options sorted by energy level (or your own), from something as full as you want on a good day to something as small as a hand on your heart on your lowest one.
Module three is testing those three versions for a couple of weeks, so you know they work before you need them.
Module four is the one most courses skip entirely: What to do when you miss a day, so it never turns into the reason you quit.
Module five goes after the old stories, this isn't for me, I'll never stick with this, that show up the moment things get hard.
Module six gives you three to four more weeks to actually live with it and adjust what doesn't fit.
Module seven brings it together into something that's actually yours, not a copy of mine.
Each module exists because of a specific place your past attempts broke.
“Angela helps us create meaningful self support practices and rituals. Not posh. Not instant perfect. Real and sustainable.”
This is for you if…
Your energy changes without warning, diagnosed or not, and you've never found a plan built around that
You've looked at self-care advice, routines, journals, morning resets, and dismissed it as not for you, because it never accounted for a day you can't predict
You want proof something holds over real weeks, not another thing to start and quietly abandon
Module 4: The Guilt-Free Return
Build a way back for when you miss a day, because you will. A missed day becomes just a missed day, not a missed month or a reason to give up.
Module 7: Making It Yours
Add what you actually enjoy and learn to adjust your practice as your seasons change, so it keeps working long after the course ends.
This isn’t for you if…
Your energy is steady enough that a routine built once works fine on repeat
You've never found yourself doing the math on how much you have before you're even out of bed
You're looking for something to follow exactly as written, rather than something you adjust to fit your actual days
“There are many self-care “gurus” out there, recirculating familiar advice. Too often, it feels like another list of “to-do’s” that don’t acknowlege the reality of someone who experiences chronic illness or unpredictable health. Angela’s work is different. Angela understands the emotional ups and downs of not always having the capacity to follow an ideal self-care routine because she lives this reality herself. She has created a progressive ladder of self-care options that meets you where you are - from your hardest, lowest-energy days to the days when you have more to give.
Angela makes self-care feel real, accessible, and free from judgment. She continually evolves her offerings to meet people where they are because she cares. Deeply.
I call Angela my self-love angel. Her gentle, soothing presence makes you feel safe and supported, even when you’re struggling. I wholeheartedly recommend going deeper with Angela.”
About Angela
I live with chronic illness, anxiety, and a neurodivergent brain. For years, I tried everything - yoga, journaling, meditation, planners - and all of it fell apart the same way. I'd miss a few days and the voice would start. Why bother? You're lazy. Other people can do this, why can’t you?
It took me a long time to understand the problem was never the tools. It was the belief that missing a day meant I'd already failed completely. Low Tide is what I built once I stopped trying to force daily consistency and started building for the day I actually have, whatever that day turns out to be.

FAQs
-
Because this one was built assuming you'd miss days. The module on what to do after a missed day isn't an afterthought, it's the reason this is built to survive a bad week instead of collapsing at the first one.
-
Then you start with the lowest-energy version, which is built for exactly that. There's no full-energy requirement to begin.
-
That's covered directly in the course. A specific way back that doesn't require explaining yourself or starting over from zero.
-
Those tools were never the problem. This builds three real versions around your actual energy, instead of asking you to do one version daily without fail.
-
Whenever you want it. Thirty minutes with Angela, scheduled at any point during the course, so you can use it for whatever you're actually stuck on instead of a generic check-in before you've started.
-
Monthly live calls while you're enrolled, open discussion and support as you move through the modules.
-
That's a fair question given everything else hasn't. The difference here is you're not being asked to trust it will work. You're asked to track real weeks and see for yourself whether it actually holds.
One More Thing
You've been doing the morning math for years. How much do I have today? What can I actually do? What's this going to cost me tomorrow?
Low Tide doesn't ask you to stop asking that question. It just finally gives you something built to answer it.
